Pho Kim Long is well-loved for its rich, aromatic pho broth, which is made fresh daily using a traditional method that includes simmering bones, herbs, and spices for hours. The result? A clear, deeply flavorful broth that's the perfect base for their tender rice noodles and meat options, like the popular pho tai (rare beef) or pho ga (chicken). The broth's depth of flavor is a standout, providing a perfect balance of savory, umami richness with just a hint of sweetness and spice.

What sets Pho Kim Long apart from other pho spots in the area is the restaurant’s consistency. Regular customers know they can rely on this diner for a consistently great meal every time. You can expect your bowl of pho to be steaming hot, brimming with fresh herbs like cilantro, basil, and lime on the side, allowing you to customize your bowl to your taste. This kind of attention to detail is what keeps people coming back.

While pho is certainly the star of the menu, Pho Kim Long offers a variety of other classic Vietnamese dishes worth exploring. Their vermicelli bowls (bún) are a hit with locals, served with grilled meats such as pork or shrimp, accompanied by crispy spring rolls and a tangy fish sauce dressing. The grilled pork in the vermicelli bowl is a standout, with its smoky flavor and juicy texture making for an irresistible combination. Another must-try is their bánh mì, a Vietnamese sandwich made with a crispy baguette stuffed with savory fillings like char siu pork, pate, and pickled vegetables.

Many patrons also enjoy Pho Kim Long for its warm and welcoming atmosphere. The diner offers a casual yet comfortable environment with friendly service that makes you feel right at home. Whether you're dining in for a quick lunch or settling in for a leisurely dinner, the staff is always attentive and happy to provide recommendations based on your preferences. The layout is simple, with a cozy feel that's ideal for families or small groups looking to share a meal.

Located in a bustling area of San Jose, Pho Kim Long is easy to spot and accessible for both locals and visitors. The pho here is good. We ordered the Bun Cha, beef pho and Bun Bo Hue. The Bun Cha was the best in my opinion. I liked it better than their beef pho and Bun Bo Hue. Came here at 10 am and there’s no line and it was pretty empty.

I had heard a lot of good things about this restaurant and finally had the chance to try it. We ordered the fried fish sizzling plate and the crispy noodles with pork. Overall, the food was decent, but not particularly impressive. The fried fish sizzling plate is similar to a Vietnamese spring roll experience, but with a fried fish flavor. you get to make your own rolls, which is a fun touch. The restaurant itself is quite loud, so I’d recommend sitting outdoors if the weather allows. One thing that stood out (in a not-so-good waywas the interior…specifically the white walls. If you’re going to use white walls, they should be kept clean. Sitting and staring at the stains definitely took away from the dining experience

I just place an ordered with Pho Kim Long, online. Customer service at the restaurant was nice, and I want it delivered which they did. I was also going to tip the doodash guy, because I know they make money from tip. But the doodash person was so rude to me, he keep saying I can't speak English and I texted to him in Spanish. Like I understand you, just gives me the ETA. Because at first it say 5:45pm, then it say 5:58 pm. Then it said 6:05 pm, I was like how long will it take you to deliver my food? When he got to my apartment he was moody and told me off. If this delivery driver, wasn't moody and talk to me nicely. I would have given him $20 tip, I even have the cash with me.

This long-established pho shop has always been popular, with lines forming every day, but they move quickly. There are actually many pho shops like this in South San Jose, but I think the difference is the broth isn't make you feel thirsty, and the beef is good. There aren't any fresh noodles available, but the dry noodles are cooked well, not too soft, and have just the right texture. The price reasonable , you pay at front cashier .

Today, we went to shopping at Great Mall. By lucky, we trained Pho Kim Long, 金龙, a Vietnamese–Chinese restaurant chain best known for its flavorful pho and broad menu. It has notable locations in both San Jose, CA and Las Vegas, NV—each with its own character. I would recommend this one as the Best pho spot I’ve been. The food has been consistent In addition to Pho, their double paned fried noodles with very rich seafood and source, lots verges, is very good.

The place is extremely clean and the staff were so efficient in service as the food came out fairly quickly. The food is on another level, definitely try the bún trả cá it’s genuinely amazing.

Best Pho place around. Long lines during lunch and dinner. Big portions and very decent prices. Flavor is excellent. Alot of special dishes that are not found at other Pho restaurants. Furniture is pretty new. Can seat large groups . Parking is crowded at dinner time. Bottom line, taste is so yummy!
